Accelerated Piano Course
(once a week -1 hour)
Ideal for learners ages 4-12. This course is designed for students who are highly motivated and want to fast track their studies. Our group sessions are a great and fun way to engage young learners into the beginning stages piano playing. Children will be singing, moving, and spending a great deal of time exploring the keyboard. We cover all areas of piano study such as note reading, rhythm recognition, music history, other family of instruments, and more.
Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 4 to ensure that each student receives the desired attention and care. Children in this program are encouraged to build up performance skills by frequently playing for one another!
Private Piano
(once a week – 30 mins / 1 hour)
Here in our studio, we believe that each student has a special way of learning. Some love being challenged, some enjoy structure, some would love to conduct his/her own lesson, this list goes on. Therefore, in a one-on-one setting, each student receives a fully customized lesson plan to meet his or her musical goal: play piano leisurely, follow a Conservatory curriculum, and participate in Festivals & Competitions.
Lessons will be designed to ensure that vital elements like technique, sight reading, ear training, theoretical concepts, duet playing, etc.. are not left out. Keeping our pianists interested, intrigued, at the same time challenged remains our ultimate goal!
Group & Private Theory
(once a week – 30 mins / 1 hour)
Theory classes are recommended to all students to expand their musical foundation. Instrumentalists learn to analyse and appreciate music on a whole new level when they can learn the fundamentals that make music sound the way they’re heard! Theory classes are co-requisites for Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Piano examinations level 5 & up. All rudiments, harmony, history, counterpoint, and analysis classes are offered and designed to help prepare students for the written exams.
